These are the real states of the grounding check, as the engine names them. That check — not a writing instruction — is why it does not invent: five of these seven outcomes shut the door and hand back to your team.

Every fact you approve widens what the agent may answer alone — because anything no source covers comes back to you. It is your act, not a subscription: there is no watch, no scheduled refresh and no automatic update. And when you correct a fact that was already approved, the product writes a new version, keeps the old one on file, and resets the authorisation for autonomous use until you grant it again.

When a person stays in charge

The sensitive, the unusual and the unknown always return to your teams: an autonomy ceiling sets how far Cerfi acts alone, a validation queue submits the rest to you, and what your approved knowledge cannot prove, Cerfi refuses to invent.

What CerfLand maintains

  • The engine and the filing frameOne engine, and the frame your knowledge is filed under — from identity and hours through to the subjects that must return to a person. We maintain the frame; the facts it files stay yours.
  • The escalation lockPassing on a complaint stays entrusted to a person. It is not a setting: none of the three autonomy modes lifts it, automatic included.
  • The published capability registryEvery channel’s state — available, on configuration, on proposal — is read from a registry the product executes. A page cannot promise more than the product ships.
  • The framing, the installation, then the amendmentsWe frame it with you, we install, we steer. The scope adjusts by amendment — never in silence, never without you.

What we do not do, and it is better read here than after signature: there is no automatic update of your knowledge and no per-sector specialist model. Your sector’s industry skill is sourced, dated, versioned and maintained by CerfLand; its next review is shown as a date, never as a promised cadence. An approved version stays in service until you approve another one, or until the end date you gave it. Nothing enters the agent’s knowledge without someone at your establishment approving it, and an approved version is never overwritten: it is replaced, and the former one stays on file.

The autonomy setting in the customer space: three levels — automatic, semi-automatic, manual — and, capability by capability, what the agent executes alone, what it submits, and what stays unavailable to it.
